An independent service by BYTETRIC
Curiloom is an independent service created and operated by BYTETRIC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the Government of India, any State Government, PARAKH or NCERT.
The service and its operator
Curiloom is created and operated by BYTETRIC, a sole proprietorship in India. These terms govern your use of this website and its activity preparation and saving features. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to BYTETRIC; “you” refers to the person using the service. Questions and complaints can be sent to support@bytetric.com.
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. How we handle personal information is explained separately in our Privacy policy.
The service is intended for adults aged 18 or over. You are responsible for having any permission your school or employer requires to use it.
An independent preparation tool
We help you prepare classroom activities, assessment questions, rubric criteria and suggested curricular selections for a Holistic Progress Card (HPC). References to Digital HPC, PARAKH, NCERT and curriculum frameworks identify the relevant systems or sources; they do not imply an official relationship, certification or approval.
Curiloom is not the official Digital HPC portal and is not operated by a government authority. The currently supported preparation format is Digital HPC for India. Names, marks, emblems, curriculum documents and third-party materials belong to their respective rights holders. These terms do not grant permission to use their logos or republish their materials.
You select the domain or subject, curricular goal (CG) and competency (CC) yourself in the official portal and paste text into the corresponding fields. Copying or saving here does not submit, publish or save an activity in Digital HPC. We do not ask for your official portal password or act through your portal account.
Review before classroom or portal use
AI suggestions can contain errors, unsuitable tasks or incorrect curriculum matches. They are editable drafts requiring your professional review. Check the concept, grade, language, learning outcomes, assessment evidence, rubric, accessibility and classroom safety before use.
Check current CG/CC options and requirements in the official portal. We do not guarantee that a suggested match or activity will be accepted by a school, board, government body or portal, or that it will meet every local requirement.
Adapt tasks to your learners, available materials and access needs. Do not use AI output alone to determine a child’s performance or make decisions affecting a learner. Generated text is not an official assessment or professional certification.
Accounts and saved work
Provide accurate account details, keep your credentials and email links private, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not share an account or impersonate another person. You are responsible for activity through your account except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Saving to your account keeps work in your private library. Saving on this browser keeps a separate local copy on that browser profile. Keep your own copies of important work; browser data can be cleared and service access can be interrupted.
Use My account to download your data or close your account, and My activities to delete a saved activity. Account closure requires password confirmation, removes account content and cancels future subscription charges; remaining paid access is lost. Browser-only copies remain on your device. Contact support@bytetric.com for help or additional requests as described in the Privacy policy.
Your content and permitted use
You retain any rights you hold in the original material you submit and the edits you make. You must have the necessary rights and permissions to submit it. You allow BYTETRIC and its service providers to process, store, reproduce and return that material only as needed to provide, secure and support the service and comply with law, as explained in the Privacy policy. This does not transfer ownership to us.
As between you and BYTETRIC, you may use, adapt and copy the activity text prepared for you for your teaching and HPC submissions. AI output may be similar to output provided to others and may not qualify for exclusive copyright. You remain responsible for third-party rights; this permission does not license copied textbook extracts, third-party resources, official curriculum documents or protected marks.
BYTETRIC retains its rights in the app’s software, original interface and branding. We grant you permission to access and use the service under these terms; we do not grant a right to resell the service or copy its interface, software or branding.
Responsible use
- Keep identifiable student information, confidential school records, passwords and sensitive personal information out of requests and saved activities.
- Do not submit unlawful, infringing, abusive or harmful material, or use the service to misrepresent approval, authorship or assessment evidence.
- Do not access another person’s information, bypass limits or security controls, create accounts to evade restrictions, or interfere with service availability.
- Do not scrape or automatically extract the service or its curriculum catalogue without our written permission and any permissions required from the underlying rights holders.
Report a content, rights or security concern to support@bytetric.com, identifying the relevant page or activity without sending unnecessary personal information.
Links and external services
Links to Digital HPC, official guidance and teaching resources open separate services governed by their own terms, privacy policies and licences. An outbound link does not mean affiliation, endorsement or permission to reuse content. Check the destination and its conditions before signing in or using a resource.
BYTETRIC does not control third-party availability, changes or decisions. The official portal remains responsible for its own login, records and submissions.
Availability, limits and charges
Features may have account and service usage limits, and preparation can be delayed or unavailable. We may change reasonable limits, maintain the service or restrict activity to prevent abuse. No uninterrupted availability or particular response time is guaranteed.
Why not free?
Preparing useful activities involves AI processing and carefully maintained curriculum context. Hosting, secure accounts, storage and ongoing support also have running costs. Paid access helps cover this work and keep the service dependable for teachers.
The Plans page shows monthly prices and separate complete-activity and idea-request allowances. A complete activity includes its activity text, assessment questions and rubric. Each idea request suggests two activities. Exact successful reuse, opening, manual editing and copying do not use a new allowance. Confirmed failed preparation releases its allowance reservation; an interrupted result may remain pending while its status is checked.
Payments use Razorpay. Where checkout is available, its displayed INR amount is the total charge for the selected month. Subscriptions renew at the selected monthly price until cancelled or their maximum of 120 billing cycles is reached. Allowances begin only after the subscription payment is confirmed, reset for each paid period and do not carry over. A payment authorisation alone may not activate access. Test-mode checkout is explicitly labelled and does not collect real money.
You can cancel future renewal from Plans and usage. Your confirmed paid period remains available until its end; cancellation does not itself refund an earlier charge. You can still open, edit and copy saved work when generation allowance is exhausted. Additional purchases or plan changes require a separate confirmed checkout; we do not apply an undisclosed upgrade charge.
For duplicate or incorrect charges, paid access that was not provided, or a refund request, contact support@bytetric.com with the payment reference. Do not send card details or payment secrets. We will investigate and explain the outcome. Any approved refund is processed through the payment provider; no refund is automatic merely because credits were unused. This does not limit refunds or remedies required by applicable law. Refunded payments may remove the related generation allowance.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, a security risk or a legal obligation. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and how to contact us about it. Suspension does not remove rights you have under applicable law.
Responsibility and legal rights
We provide the service with reasonable care, but cannot promise that AI output is accurate, unique, complete or fit for every teaching purpose. Subject to applicable law, it is provided on an “as available” basis without additional guarantees.
To the extent permitted by law, BYTETRIC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits or opportunities resulting from use of the service. This does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or override mandatory consumer, privacy or other statutory rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes may be brought before courts or other authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law. You may first contact support@bytetric.com to seek resolution; doing so does not restrict your right to use a competent court, consumer forum or other available remedy.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date will appear on this page and we will provide appropriate notice of material changes. Changes apply prospectively; existing purchases, if any, remain subject to their agreed terms and applicable law.
